I agree, that Nova Stefano is selling is very nice.

Re: 1969 Yenko Nova Pricing
Real '69 Yenko Nova = $1M+
Clone '69 Yenko Nova - best case scenario = $45k, mostly for the drivetrain and good sheetmetal/paint. JMO https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |
Re: 1969 Yenko Nova Pricing
Gentlemen, I appreciate all of the input. I'm surprized at some of the low prices for parts, restoration, etc.,offered. I may be more out of touch than I thought. I guess my 1969 L-34 Nova (missing original drive train) is worth restoring. I just hope I can find the cheap restoration shops and parts that you guys are offering. I'm wondering if you're all figuring no or minimal labor costs (doing all work by ones self). I guess that could relate to what I think are very low prices. I thought some of the Barrett-Jackson Yenko Camaro clones were in the $100,000 range, but I could be wrong.
Thanks, Rick |
Re: 1969 Yenko Nova Pricing
Does B-J pricing really represent what collectible autos trade for? I would buy your L34 all day long before buying a $95K Yenko Nova clone.

Re: 1969 Yenko Nova Pricing
Not many people will hire a top notch resto shop to perform a $60k resto on a clone car, and most top notch resto shops won't do it anyway. So, most clone cars will go the cheap route, in more ways than one. Most clone cars are not really clones, they are nice cars with stripes - and are 'usually' priced accordingly. BJ is not the barometer to use, unless you intend to build the car to sell at that particular venue.
Dean is correct, a real enthusiast would stand on the hood of the clone car to get a better look at your L34. |

Re: 1969 Yenko Nova Pricing
The prices look low. Because they are the answer to what would the car be worth. Not what it would cost to build. Two very different things. Earl
