Re: INTAKE AND CARB
If you saw that around the Virginia/N.Carolina area,I'm pretty sure that was a dealer transplant.Sounds like the same one Sonny & Elmer saw back then too.
Marty S. tested a 71 LS-6 Mule in his magazine in 1971,but no FACTORY assembled ones have been proven today. --------------------- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...sbearslogo.gif They're On The Move.. |
Re: INTAKE AND CARB
The transplant scenario is likely, but you never know.

Re: INTAKE AND CARB
Rick,
Let me see if I remember this: No 1970 LS-6 Corvettes - right? No 1971 LS-6 Chevelles? If I'm not mistaken, I've seen technical listing for LS-6 application for both cars for both years. More folk-lore? Steve |
Re: INTAKE AND CARB
I wouldn't exactly call it folklore, but technical materials were printed before the cars were assembled and made a reality.
I believe Chevrolet had ideas to assemble these two cars for public release, but they never fruitioned once their respective production lines started. ------------------ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...sbearslogo.gif They Will Rein In Arizona.. |
Re: INTAKE AND CARB
Folklore may be the LS7 chevelles. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif There are 2 brothers that drag race in DIV-1. The Abbazia Bros from Conn. I believe they built an LS-6 1971 chevelle and NHRA accepted it for B/SA. So https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
