Re: ZL-1 oil pan & windage tray

Recently, a member here posted a list of ZL-1 components.
At least I'm pretty sure it was here. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

I searched the archives, but I can't find it. I was hoping
to learn if the list if ZL-1 internal engine components
included the windage tray and "special" oil pan.

Anyone know of the list I'm referring to?

As prices go up the driving goes down. I am always discussing this with BBBenny about his cars. I like driving them. A lot of people think it is great that these cars keeping going up in value. I think it is a curse. #1 nobody wants to drive them anymore, and #2 who can afford them.

Did anyone find that list of ZL-1 components? Also, if the
oil pan had to be modified to fit the windage tray, were
there any GM written procedures pertaining to this?

Here is the list you are looking for: ZL1 parts the oil pan info is in Ed Cunneen's book (original ZL1 engine AIM)that shows how to remove the Corvette pan, tray, oil pump and add the Camaro parts (pan #3955103, no windage tray). This book is a must to build a ZL1.
