Re: COPO Appraisal
I just put the 70 CoPo with Tamara, and after asking several questions, ie, is it a real copo etc, they insured it with an agreed upon price. No real issues at all, and they were nice to boot (good to see customer service for a change!)

Re: COPO Appraisal
I use Haggerty and had no trouble kicking up the value of my Yenko Tribute to $45,000 last year. I plan to kick it to $55 when it comes due in July. They said they are beginning to appreciate that well done clones have value. Look at what a couple of the Hemi clones brought at B-J last January.
I actually had more trouble getting Haggerty to insure the car in it's unfinished state for $20,000 a couple of years ago. (painted, no glass, no interior) I listed all the NOS and original stuff, and also all the correctly numbered parts, and explained that the glass was still out until in got the top of the dash painted the "correct" black. They recognize the difference between a tribute/clone and a 396 (or 454) with a $200 yenko stripe kit. |
