Re: Martin Michigan FAST/ Pure Stock
We call him the Omish tuner! Great guy. Car flat hauls. Has to be one of the best sleeprs I have ever seen. 300 horse small block, cast intake with Q jet https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif Column shift https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif 3.90 gears. Ran 12.80's most of the day. He was p&g'd with the breast pump, came in exactly at 360 inches. With the few naysayers of late, all quick 8 cars were asked to meet together in a line for tech. Pulled the valve covers on all 8. Everyone passed as far as part#'s and rocker arms (no roller crap). Pumped JJ and Six Pak Bob as well. All passed with flying colours. The tech guy was rough on them all https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
I ran Miss Penninton first round and won. Second round was against JJ. I feed him the tree roots first and was in the final against Bob. Treed him buy two tenths, but the hemi outpowered me. I lost by .07! Fun time. Won $300 from Year One https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif Thanks fellas. Won a brand new posi carrier of my choice from Eaton for the best reaction time of the week-end https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gifThanks fellas. And won some race fuel donated by Major Nelson (Wayne with thee Vette) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif Thanks Wayne. Had a greet week-end. Darren ,you should have introduced yourself! Peter |
Re: Martin Michigan FAST/ Pure Stock
Dan, sorry no camera, no pictures. The silver 350 post car is owned by a guy named Brian McDowell from Three Rivers Michigan. He did a restoration a couple of years ago and blueprinted the engine over last winter. He's a friend of Tom Miller. Tom hangs out on the www.v8buick.com site in the "other guys" area. He can put you in touch.
