Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
Well the Corvette has found a new home with another member, so I'm looking at a cash deal only now. Please email or PM any leads that you might come across. Will also consider a '68 Z-28.

Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
While on this subject, I have heard about, but not yet seen a 67 RS/SS for myself. 43K Original Unrestored Miles. 295hp/350 PowerGlide on the column. Factory A/C, Bolero Red, White nose stripe, Black Std Interior, Calif car with NO docs.....claims no dents, dings, no rust original paint.
IF this checks out I will try to post pics elsewhere. Can those knowledgeable, please give me estimated high side buying value.....Seller asking/thinking $30K ?????? |
Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
Chuck, the PG hurts the value a bit, but I think $30K is what it would be worth...if it is a true time capsule, it might be $35K, but I haven't seen too many sell in this range for a small block/PG car.

Mark
I wish I had seen this thread earlier, I am a 67 Corvette nut. I have a 1968 RS/SS 396/325 with a turbo 400, delux interior, tilt column, wood wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, buckets and console with guages, air conditioning, am/fm with 8 track unit, disc brakes and vinyl roof. It is the original engine, transmission and rear. This is a 100% rust free California car with its original black license plates. I bought it from the second owner who had the car since the mid 80's. It has been painted one time but other than that it is a great survivor Camaro. Still has all smog on the car. I am thinking about selling it, but I am a Corvette guy.. let me know if you may be interested. It is white with black interior. You guys will have to help me on a price.. John |

Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
On July 3 Monday I did drive out to my old friends home, some 50 miles east of Seattle, in the Cascade Mountain foothills. The below 67 Camaro had little if any Original paint and maybe a replaced right panel. Even though a nice car, I was expecting to see an Original Paint unmolested survivor. Bottom of car was as original with misc dirt, grease and grime.........I pretty much decided that I High $20K's was just too high. Did I make my next mistake.....??

Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
Chuck,
You made a good decision. The master cylinder and associated brake lines are incorrect. The motor looks incorrect as well. Wrong air cleaner, wrong valve covers, wrong PCV setup etc.. Makes you wonder Car looks to be repainted. Has a rear spoiler (not in 67), wrong center caps, etc.. If you are looking for original unmolested that car is not the one. Rick H. |
Re: '67 Camaro RS/SS Wanted
Thanks for the responses, but I have decided to go in another direction for our driver https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif So I am no longer looking for an RS/SS...unless it is a Pace Car that is https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
