Very Very nice!! I can truly appreciate the hard work! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
ALbert What happened to the overspray on the fuel pump?? I liked it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: ls6 engine pics
That was an old fuel pump that I used to block off that area. I've found it works better than just masking off the pad.

Re: ls6 engine pics
Rob,
Coming along nicely. What will this be going in? What is the story of this "CE" block? Thanks. |
Re: ls6 engine pics
It's going in my '70 ls6,original block had a sand hole in it and was replaced by the dealer in January 1971 when the car had approx 9000 miles on it.I have the original dealer paperwork detailing the problem, along with several build sheets, order form, original window sticker,POP,dealer invoice and predelivery sheet, The car has 36,000 miles on it,original tranny/rearend are still with it,too bad the original block was defective.

Very nice https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif . Color? Pix? Tranny? Rear gears? Options? Sorry if I missed discussion of your car. Sounds like you have a good history on car with strong documentation. IMHO, a documented CE is 99% as good as original.
