There was a 427 one in central CT in the early 80's. My brother came home from school and said someone he went to school with had a Camaro with a 427 and said Panther on it. He wanted to know if I knew anything about it. At the time I had never heard of it. Don't know know what happened to it.

Isn't there a clone car out there....and would this be one of the 4 you're counting as known? . What engines are these known ones? . Thanks! ~ Pete

No, the 4 I know of are all real...427, 396, 327, 327. I've been trying to buy them for a couple of years now.

Two were rally sport '67 Z-28s. One of them is accounted for. I've got copies of paperwork for both. Here's a picture of one of them in Europe in late '69.
