lol...my friend Ron Pratte ended up with the bus...he's 5'7" standing up, or 7'11" sitting on his wallet. I think his bidder number was #0001

Yeah, I noticed that the big guy was towering over your friend. That's probably why he jumped up on stage---so he could physically intimidate the smaller guy. I also noticed that your friend wound up with several awesome cars, including that white T-bolt.

Steve, does he have a museum or just a private collection? The Futurliner seems like an odd buy for a musclecar collector. They were saying the seller was hoping for $600K.

Funny you should ask...he started his private car collection at B-J 2003 by buying 52 cars during that auction, then sold his construction business here last year and moved back to Phoenix. He recently built a nice exhibit hall/building in metro Phoenix with museum intents. I really felt glad for the guy who was hoping to get 600k for the Futurama bus------------What a feeling it must have been for him to see the bidding take off like that-------I was even clapping in front of my TV......
