If you like the car go for it.But if your into the car being orginal with # matching drivetrain ect.I would go with 442w30's suggestion documents or paper work proofing that its real.

Honestly, only interested to flip it, it would be like the Harley I had... all I'd think about was, 'Geez, I could have another Chevy for this kind of money!'. It's a pretty good chunk of change ( at least to me!), so it's got to be doc'd or I'm passing on it.

I finally have the VIN #XP29C8G204xxx. Anyone know what the heck any of that means? Also... stamped on front of block...F440 (?)

XP29 MEANS CHARGER 2 DR AND THE C MEANS 318 I BELIEVE.OR MIGHT BE A 6 CYLINDER CAR. I GET CONFUSED SOMETIMES. THE F440 ON THE ENGINE MEANS 1969 440. IF IT WAS FROM. AN RT IT WOULD HAVE A HP AFTER THE 440 STAMP.SOUNDS LIKE A CLONE TO ME. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

GTO_DON, come on down! Found out today, the previous owner 'knew' of the '1 of 8' and faked it up. Never buy until you're zestfully sure!
