Re: n.j deuce info???

It's from Ammon R. Smith Motor Co. in York, PA. The FG Deuce from Wallace is found.

No, it's not in NJ even, the wallace cars seemed to 'spread out'.

Marlin, What color Deuces were sold at Wallace. How many were 4-speeds or Th400??? My freind Doug remembers several, especially the FG Deuce. How many survived?

I didn't see the FG car on the list but otherwise see 1 4spd silver (mikes car), 1 4spd fathom blue, 1 4spd crandberry red, and 1 auto c. red. Marlin, I thought all the known cars were on the list.. ??

The FG car I was referring to is quite hidden, and I have not personally seen the car. I believe it's a Wallace sold car, as the current owner recalls the word 'WALLACE' on the POP. However, he does not recall where on the POP! So, I can't really claim 100% that it's a Wallace car yet, because it could also be a person's last name. I feel comfortable calling this car a Wallace car bec/ I've talked to guys from the area that recall an FG a/t car, but not quite comfortable enough to add it to the list as such. Unfortunately, we don't have the inventory sheet #6 where this car would be listed https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

This car is a FG, a/t, without p/s (one of 4 configured this way), was originally sold in May/June of '71 (not surprising to you wallace deuce owners with original sales paperwork), it is a restored car, has the power stick shifter, and has racked up approx. 75k miles over the years. How it got out west is beyond me, but not surprising as the red 4sp deuce was 'found' in South Dakota, the red a/t deuce was found in the deep South - almost in Florida, this green one is in the midwest, but MikeA's silver one was with the original owner, in Linden NJ, when I found it 6-7 years ago https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif
