Re: 69 Camaro Driveshaft Marking??
There were three driveshafts in 69 Camaros:
manual (SB&BB) & PG TH350 TH400 That's it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif |

Re: 69 Camaro Driveshaft Marking??
I have some of them noted, but haven't tried to reconcile the data. Some stripes rust off first, so the data isn't always consistent... Low on my project list. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Re: 69 Camaro Driveshaft Marking??
What's the difference between a TH350 and a manual tranny drive shaft?
My car was originally a TH350, and I converted to an M21, but used the original driveshaft. I haven't had any mechanical problems, but is one brewing? |
Re: 69 Camaro Driveshaft Marking??
If I am correct, the Turbo 350 shares output shaft splines with the M-20 and M-21. The Turbo 400 shares the splines with the M-22. That is the only difference I am aware of.

Re: 69 Camaro Driveshaft Marking??
The difference is in the lengths of the shaft, and possibly the position of the yokes on each end in relation to each other. I'm pretty sure the TH400 shaft is shorter than the others, the muncie/PG ones are a little longer, and the TH350 is the longest.
