And the women wonder what we want for Christmas? . It's almost too much to believe! . Like Rick said, I'd love to go through the engines checking suffixes and Vins! . Santa, if you're real please swing by this place for a sleigh load! ~ Pete

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
Per the article, there may be a Yenko Deuce in there too... He evidently swapped out big blocks during the gas crunch, most of the BBC's are evidently Corvette engines, freshly rebuilt and then stored... He also swapped out the original engines in the cars (keeping them) just in case they were stolen, they wouldn't be numbers matching? Odd.
All of the trailers were welded shut and put end to end so they couldn't be opened or moved... He supposedly drove around a rusty El Camino...all these great cars (I love Elcos...)but really! |
Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
Just proves you never know what people have stashed away... the one lead you don't follow up on could be the gold mine you miss out on. I can't help but wonder how much the sister sold all this stuff for...I bet someone got a very good deal.

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
What I'm hearing is that the entire inventory was bought for $1M and the current owner is looking to double their money ($2M) also heard that Jay Leno may be a potential buyer.

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
Just the eight cars pictured likely add up just $750-$1M. Add all the engines, carbs, fuel injection, exhaust, convertible tops, wheels, rear ends, bellhousing, transmissions, etc, etc, etc and it easily should add up to another $1M. Who knows? All you need is a couple cross ram Camaro hoods and/or complete set ups, some JL-8 rears and a few other high dollar parts and you could far exceed those numbers. I think a total package price of $2M would be very fair. If you were to e-bay these items individually, you could likely add another $1-2M but YEARS and a ton of work to do it. You could auction it all off but that would take many months to inventory and have the auction as well. Stay tuned. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
Look at the countless TAX FREE dollars you could turn on EBAY........Just cant imagine that Heartbeat City, and Chuck A (aka 427 king) are salivating to buy this, but would think cash flow would be an issue.......

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly
Did someone spend a lot of time cleaning those parts and restoring those engines? They all look too clean to have come out of wrecked or parted out cars. Some of those engines look like thay were removed from freshly restored vehicles!!
