Re: My experience with Desert Valley Auto - NOT good

In the original web page did the text say that it came with a small block, not big block as pictured? If they did not do so, one would only assume the engine picured comes with the car. My guess is one of the employee's wanted the big block, or it was a valuable big block ie: corvette engine and they pulled it out? From what has been said, i would say the lawyer dogs will be tearing some desert valley A$$ soon. But i will also say that in 93 i bought a 71 camaro from them with no problems, and i arranged my own transport with carper auto transport out of phoenix for $600 to Wi. That was even a cheap haul back then. Good luck and hope you get things worked out. Roger

There was no significant description of the car in the ad other than to state it was a `67 SS Chevelle. If you look at some of the other cars they have advertised, you'll see some have rather sparsely worded descriptions at best.

we covered this place on V8TV awhile ago. Sad to hear about botched transaction. Good non rusted parts are a key to this hobby. I hope it turns out.

If this was still the old west out in Az, I'd have to say that we'd see the salesman swinging from a tree for what he pulled.
