Dont know if the car was ever on Ebay.. Richard said the rear end is suppose to be an actual JL8 rear that came on a car from the factory. Not a dealer rear end. How can you tell the differance?
This car is a real Z and numbers matching, but the rear and xram were added. The rear is dated just a little after the car. The Xram and just about everything else is dated correct for the car. NO PAPERS ON THE CAR, I do have Owner History, Selling Dealer etc.. Just a stand up high quality car with lots of neat rare parts. Thanks

Nope this is the car I am thinking of. I did not think the JL8 rear was original to this car. Excuse me, I did not mean to imply the rear was a dealership peice, I meant to say it was a dealership installed item... aka not original from the factory -- to the car.

I remember the ebay auction correctly. Matter of fact, members of this website bid on the car when it was on ebay. It did not have any paperwork in the auction either but they said the owner history on the car was really neat. Good luck in the sale!

Daniel:

Was there a previous discussion about the car on this board?

The hours on the resto are correct..That is between the 2 spots.. Hatfields and Coast to Coast If you saw the car in person I believe that would justify the resto, No Screw, Bolt, Nut was left unturned.. Very Detailed and Correct.

Im sure some of those resto hours where also used in tracking down parts etc.. but I reciepts on it.

The car is awesome, I was just kidding about the hours, I know how long it takes to restore theses things, The 69 Z/28 im having restored will not have all 100% matching parts and I really dont care as im going day 2 with it and with the price of parts and the time it takes to find them is one of the main reasons im staying with the day 2..If my car was an original owner JL8 in need of restoration I would pucker up and go the distance...(Hey Rich, if your reading this you can stop drooling now, the new car wont need updating for a while https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif)

Glad I didn't plan on going to look at this one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Starting to look like a pattern is developing.
