Ya but we can't use a French Filter. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif The car won't run right! The oil flows in the opposite direction.https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif

I thought it makes your transmission run backwards so you have 4 reverse gears and one forward gear.

A lot of the repo houses have them as well David, but I think for a little more than $20. I've had good experiences with Greenwood's https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

The repro's don't have the raised letters on the bottom like the NOS one in the Ebay ad. If you want those raised white letters it will cost you ...
I use the repro's on my cars with Mobil-1

Re: Oil and Filter

I just got off the phone with Greenwood, and they told me that the AC Delco P-25's will fit any 69 Chevy small block or big block. This was the filter the cars left the factory with.
There is only one thing I don't like about these repro P-25 filters, they don't have the anti-drainback valve like the updated "blue" AC filters. I guess if they worked great in 1969, there shouldn't be a problem with them today.
They also have the P-35's in stock, and they are about an inch longer than the P-25's.
