Here are a few more pics including the eng pic,as for the trunk emblem https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif it was never installed and there are no holes anywhere under the deck lid .The car is a early los car and also has a firebird jacking label on the underside of the deck lid and no jack bracket welded to the upper trunk floor.I have had a few early los cars and that seems to be the norm???man these los cars are wierd..

Is the orange paint on the engine original? I've never seen it hold up that well if it has never been touched up/resprayed. Neat car.

Joe, I agree that the engine has been repainted. I had a 12k mile original 350 car about 7 years ago and most of the engine paint was coming off, especially on the intake and front of the block. Also note the RTV squeazed out at the end of the intake on this car. Still a nice car. I had to clean up the engine on a Glacier Blue w/blue vinyl top (originally a white painted top) 307 coupe that had 17k miles on it back in 2001. Someone had tried to make it look "untouched" and screwed it up. That is one car that I wish I would have bought. It had probably the best blue std interior that I had ever seen and some unusual options for a base model: vigilite system and speed warning. The car ended up somewhere in Indiana or Illinois. This is a really nice example of a mostly untouched Camaro https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif..............RatPack.........
