I'll second the motion that Rusty doesn't get the credit he deserves. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif In 1983 Rusty appeared at the national convention for the Late Great Chevy Association in St. Charles, Ill. with the world's first restored '63 Z-11 Impala, and just to have a nice pair, next to it was a '62 Belair Sport Coupe with aluminum front end and add-on Z-11 top end. That was when I first met him. I was visiting his "warehouse" once and saw the ZL-1. I remember him saying he was probably going to sell it. He had the Chevelle there then too. I think that was my first visit to his place. He was still finishing the aluminum nose '62 race car. I spoke with Jay a few weeks ago. I have a 69 Z28 he restored 18 years ago. He is now in Southern Ca.

Here is an article from Super Chevy April -84. Itīs a COPO 9561 restored by Jay. Sold new in Cincinatti by Queen city Chevrolet.
