Thanks Patrick. The AAR is a all original sheetsteel factory EV2 Orange car. Nice and clean, console with buckets and painted sport mirrors. Not coded but has a set of original rear window louvers. We like the car alot but I'd like a Sassy Grass 4spd.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

That is my favorite factory automatic shifter. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif
The stock 'slapstick' works great & being real short looks cool too. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Thanks Charley, Yes 'most' of the paint is original,lh fender has been sprayed at one time, It's nice to dream about a 71 hemi but the reality is we would want it as it rolled off the factory line, And as with most of the original paint cars we have or have had the paint is a 'OK' , I think the paint on the red 69 judge is nicer but this color hides flaws a little better. But.. They are only original ONCE!! Preservation of this remaining originality is what we take pride in!! Even if you can't compete in a local podunk car show cause people don't understand your belief. We enjoy sharing with people that understand.. Thanks again Here is a quick picture of a paint inspection stamp on underside of decklid. Very cool https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Is that cut-out under the deck-lid for a rear wing mounting bracket?

The cut out is for the rear spoiler. J81 is the option code for the spoiler. Patrick

You're darn tootin' it's a good time in Stanton! It's hard to explain, but once you've been there, you wonder why you've never been before!

Great score on the *new* car! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
