About the $2 million dollar Hemi Cuda----it is white with black billboards. I am sure because the car was in my showroom for 2 weeks before it was picked up for delivery. Roger Gibson and I are very good friends and he brings many of these great cars to my shop for transportation to their owners.
It is a beautiful car but being a devout Yenko fan, it paled in comparison to the Yenko's across the showroom. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif floor.

Yes the blue one was Milts old car. I think Bill is supposed to be on the Cover of Esquire magazine with some print about the white car. He will look so Dapper. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Couple of other interesting details about the car considering it was exported to France:

1. It is radio delete because France used a different frequency band.
2. The speedometer is calibrated in kilometers per hour rather then mph.
3. The top of the radiator core support is stamped with the VIN which has a pentastar at each end of the number. This was done when it landed in Paris.

I have heard that there were 9 - 71 Hemicuda convertibles made. (7 domestic, 2 for export) I have always wondered:
Have all 9 survived?
What were the color combinations?

The ones I can recall are as follows:

1 yellow/white int, automatic
1 butterscotch/black int, auto
1 orange/orange int, auto
1 red/black int, auto
2 blue/blue int (both 4 speeds)
1 winchester grey (export)

I dont have the info on the white car

By gosh, you should post the current ownership and pics if available. I know about the Yellow one, what's the scoop with the rest?

OK you guys got my curious, my net detective work finds these two so far:

One of the blue ones

The yellow one

Both having a connection to Kevin Suydam, I assume they are the real deal for discussion purposes.

Are there more accounted for?

NJ-Steve is this the yellow one you refer to as owning, the one Don Johnson copied for the show?

Found this too, not sure who or how accurate:

This post is basically for Mr. Suydam himself, but the information might be useful to everyone else. If one reads the june issue of Mopar Muscle magazine they will finf out that the two exported 71 Hemi "cuda Convertibles have been found, but out of the Seven 71 Hemi 'Cuda Convertibles built for the states, and the one sent to Canada, only seven have been found. That makes a total of NINE 71 Hemi 'Cuda Convertibles FOUND, however TEN were MADE. Good luck searching for the last one.

Re: $2 Million Hemicuda

No telling who owns what car at any given time. "Deep pocket" guys spar for these cars and trade in a world well above the average enthusiast. Its my understanding that the Cuda was in a package deal that would equal a lottery winning ticket rather then a auto transaction.

In any case, according to Galen Govier, nine cars were made for the US market and two were export. Its possible that others exist, but it would require extensive documentation.
