Granted it is a nice car but somebody went crazy with Photoshop. The last pic of the engine compartment shows it bad. The red paint on the inner fenders is not consistant between the hood hinges and on the right side of the firewall between the wiper motor and the fender.

What red paint on the inner fenders https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif Maybe I need a new computer or Monitor or something, but the only thing red I see on the inner fenders is the corner of a Fender Cover. And of course we all know and acknowledge that the factories were very particular and consistent when applying paint to the engine compartments https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

Still looks like a nice car to me.

Bill,
You are correct, there is no photoshop on these pictures. The only stuff on the fender near the firewall is more Ziebart! Both inner fenders were covered with undercoating from the firewall forward. Most has been removed with kerosine and a lot of elbow grease. The hood hinges need to be removed to clean it all off. Of course the underbody has a nice thick coat of the stuff everywhere. The problem is what to do with the bare steel frame after the Ziebart is removed?
It will be a good detailing project for Bob. Needless to say he is back to being a car nut again! Thanks again to Glen Hansen for the heads up on the car.

The lever may be a trailer brake control unit. Seems I remember seeing one that looked like that way back when.

I was into GTO's for a few years before I switched to Bow-Ties. What I find interesting about this car is the Bench Seat. Unlike Chevelles, GTO's came standard with bucket seats and I don't think 67's were any different. Very rarely would you see someone opt for "delete bucket seats" or whatever was required to get the bench seat.

Very nice find https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Mark,
Use Boe-Shield. Ask Chad how he thought it worked on the DH Camaro. Great stuff.
