Here's an auction for the said "Yenko" that ran two weeks ago. Faux Yenko My bet is the scammers simply search completed auctions for high ticket items that didn't meet reserve, rob a few pictures and take it from there. The other auction has been pulled already. I'm curious, did anyone here notify ebay about this, or did they discover it as the MO of scammers and correct it themselves?

Hey bro, I think thats a different "French's Mustard Yellow" 69 Yenko clone... the first one had the black unpainted grill and chrome bumper. Its now invalid anyhow, so the scam theory was in fact correct.

Yeah you're right...they are different cars. No houndstooth or rare sYc dash package like Ed mentioned. The 2 builders must have went halfsies on a 5 gallon can of highway DOT yellow. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

I've gotten similar letters back, it's his brothers/fathers car, passed away/inherited, im here in porta rico/melan/chile, etc etc, but you ever notice the bad english. If this guy has the nerve to put a scam like this together you would think that he would have the skills to use proper grammer.
