In the picture through the rear view mirror, there is a small rectangle at the back center of the package shelf, that appears to have three little lights on it. Is this part of the fiber optics system? What are the three lights?

That would be the hardtop version of the vigilite fiber optic light montor. That unit monitored the rear brake/signal and license plate lights. Very rare option. Attached is the convertible version. Extra mucho very rare https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Kind of an "old time" heads up display of your lighting system.Monitors front headlights,turn sig,rear tail lamps,and license plate light....Uses all fiber optic cable and jeweled indicator lenes.Very high tech for the late 60's early 70's....The correct option name is Vigilite.
