Re: 65 Z16 Chevelle on Ebay
It seems that the guys on Team Chevelle may be changing their minds about wheather this is a real Z16 or not. They have decodes the trim tag and say that it it is indead the correct trim tag numbers, the car is real. Here are the decoded numbers.

Re: 65 Z16 Chevelle on Ebay
But the car does not have the original block. Someone out there is going to spend a lot of money on the car in non-driveable condition to spend another load of money restoring the car. This all turns back to the main question. Is this Z-16 worth anything without its original motor? Same with a COPO, or Yenko, or any regular production Z-28 or LS6?

Terrible pics of that car on the auction [/ QUOTE ] <font color="blue"> It's kind of foolish to run a car like this on Ebay and to have only two grainy photos....</font> |

[/ QUOTE ] I think if it's real someone will restore it...COPO and YENKO without original motor is fairly common and as you can see...yes they are worth something....CE block doesn't seem to hurt them as much as an RPO car... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |

Reserve has been met at $45,000. Someone must think it's real.
