I scanned that photo out of a 1970 magazine and it was a road test article so the car was new.

HI, I did go through my mag. collection, saw the same. I assume, they painted the lower spoiler to match car. Pretty rare to see non judge GTO. I do know of a raiv GTO. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

I agree with Don. But I know of at least one Orbit Orange standard GTO.

Both the "Jolly Olly Orange" '69 Judge photo and the '70 RA-IV color photo came from the July 1970 Cars Magazine. By the way, the '70 GTO was called "a 400 Ram Air GTO in Judge trim" in the article.

Here's a photo I found of Warren Oates sitting on top of the Orbit Orange GTO in "Two Lane Blacktop".

As many of you know, Oates played "Sgt. Hulka" in Bill Murray's movie, "Stripes".
