Re: Hot Rod pump gas shootout
I wonder how big of a shot of nitrous was used to run those numbers. I would like to see an "all motor" pump gas shoot out! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Re: Hot Rod pump gas shootout
My engine builder has an all steel 56 Chevy running 9.90 (and dropping) all motor on pump gas with a Jerico https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif

Re: Hot Rod pump gas shootout
I don't doubt that it can be done. It's just that there is a large gap between "street legal" and a true street car IMO. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: Hot Rod pump gas shootout
Those cars in the shootout got teched, then drove 33 miles, and got caught in Memphis rush hour traffic...talk about tough. Then they go and AVERAGE et's in the 9s, with some on the verge of 8s? Friggin' unbelievable... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: Hot Rod pump gas shootout
SWEET! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif If I'm not mistaken, that 9.08 was the best ET of the event. I had full intentions to be there, but it didn't work out. I consider MMP my home track, and am bummed I missed that deal. Nice to see a bow-tie take home the trophy... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif
