I brightened up the pic. It's also "Fred Flintstone" equipped.

Re: 427 Canadian Pontiac 2+2
Bobby,
I believe that hood pic is in Redline's "sig" or signature file, not a part of the 2+2 story. -Sam |

Re: 427 Canadian Pontiac 2+2
Weren't power front disc brakes mandatory on big block cars by 1969, I spoke to someone who ordered one of these ( a 1968) new back in 68 and he said the only way to be able to get the 427 was to order power disc brakes, he said you could't get the big motor otherwise. But you could have standard steering though.

Re: 427 Canadian Pontiac 2+2
Cars that came standard with power disc brakes could be ordered with a power delete option, many drag racers did this as drum brakes were lighter and produced less friction. Pontiac did not come standard with Disc unless ordered, engine size was not considered on the Pontiac line as all Pontiac engines were big blocks.

Re: 427 Canadian Pontiac 2+2
This same rule applied to 1969-72 SS Chevelles as well.I would imagine other GM A-Bodys also.
