 Re: option codes

Rick, I faxed the facts Saturday late afternoon.
Your ZP3 special paint is interesting. All special order paint cars I have seen are 1001HA option for special paint. Keep in mind, the driveshaft thing is just a theory I thought I would throw out there to see what kind of reaction I got. I think some are still laughing so hard they can't type back!! https://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif I'm thinking your sheet does not actually have the word driveshaft on it. I'm likely way out in left field, but the only dumb question is the one not asked. Peter [Edited by COPO PETE (01-05-2002 at 11:39 PM).] |

Yes,the build sheet does show 1001HA on it for special paint. No,the Driveshaft is not listed on there.I inserted here to stand out more. |

L72....you never said, but I'd be willing to be that since you have ZW1, your car is a M22 car.

 Re: option codes

Does anyone have a build sheet or Canadian documentation on a COPO Chevelle 9562 with the 9737? Were all the Canada COPO Chevelles 9566?

 Re: option codes

The difference in what may appear to be the same drive shaft could be because one calls for it to be shot pened. For years I wondered why the drive shafts on my F41 Corvette had orange marks. I found out this was to signify they were treated to this process where the same shaft without heavy duty suspension had no orange mark. Interesting topic.

 Re: option codes

Joe, excuse my ignorance here, but COPO Chevelle 9562 with 9737...you're talking COPO Chevelle that came with the 15 x 7 Monte style wheels? There was at least one sold at Central Chev that way. He has the build sheet and POP as well as original bill of sale. He does'nt like to hand out paperwork and when I looked at it, I did'nt have a pen and paper handy. The build sheet impressed me has it listed about 5 different things with the word copo beside it. I will eventually get a copy!

 Re: option codes

Pete, Yes the COPO 9737 had the 15in Rally Wheels, F70x15 Goodyear WT GT tires and F40. The Yenko Chevelles had it. A build sheet or Canadian documentation for a COPO Chevelle or Camaro with the 9737 would be very interesting to see because of the additional codes that the Canadian system appears to use. I am curious what definitions they applied to the COPO codes. (if any)
