All those years ago we couldn't figure out why a buddy's "stock" 68 400-4spd Firebird could Beat Down all our hot rods ??
Nice car for sure !!

Really nice looking car...interesting they didn't spend a little more time on the underside of the front crossmember :hmmm: It really takes away from the presentation...still would look good in our garage :cool2:

One of my pet peeves. Of course, the older I get, seems like the more I have.

Sadly, that is what most of the first gen subframes look like... even on a lot of the "restored" cars.

I have never understood why you wouldn't address that if you already have the frame off and you are doing all the other work.

Frame metal is much easier to work with than sheet metal, and way easier to weld. On this car, I don't know for a fact that they had the frame off; but the ad says "completely restored example"... I would have to disagree.

Still a car I would love to own. But then, I want one of almost everything.

Just my two cents.

And yes,

We had that same color combination in our '68 Pontiac. Unfortunately, it was on a Bonneville. But I still loved the color.

I'm usually not a green fan but it really works with this combo!
