A friend of mine has a 65 L78 block, T0603IE S250291 on the pad, if anyone happens to stumble upon that car.

Yeah I think you're right dancing around the right place. You mentioned you've had it for a few years so I would guess you have some wiggle room. A lot of plus since you have paperwork and Original Owner doc too. The dealership is not too far from me.
