Well Chris, when this current project was blown apart for it's first "Restoration" :rolleyes2: 20 years ago 2/3 of the original fasteners didn't make it back on the car, even though all the important numbers correct and scarce small parts are intact. So spending a few hours blasting bolts and j-nuts for parkerizing. Always good to have spares on hand too! - Bill W

May I ask what "Parkerizing" is? I have never heard that term before.

Parkerizing aka phosphate plating Bill. :beers:

Many restorers do that themselves, but there is a gun restorer near me that does a great job, quickly and low cost enough I can't afford to fool with it myself.
