The biggest Key-stoners were Sox & Martin, IMO

Side note. Many people do not realize that there was a Kustomag and a Klassic. Both similar in overall design but the what the center section was attached to the hoop and kusto's were direct bolt vs unilug.

Just stumbled across this monster, Keystone-shod Cammer Maverick. Seemed appropriate for this thread:)

Love the Keystones.

Would really like to see more pics of that Red Ventura. That is a looker for sure.

My Camaro when I first got it. These Keystones and TAs were sold to pay for my first set of Craftsman tools so I could go to work at the local Ford dealer. The other one is the '67 SS396 Chevelle that I traded for the Camaro.

Guess I'm odd man out. I've never cared for the flat spoke of the Keystones and always had Cragars back in my youth...:dunno:

Now I have American Racing Torque Thrusts on my '38.

Funny how the whole eye of the beholder works. I was the opposite. Hated Cragars and loved Keystones... Had a set on my first car.

I wonder if it didn't have something to do with marketing too. I don't recall seeing Keystones available in the Mpls/St Paul area much until the mid seventies and by then most of the cars around here had Cragars ?? Kinda like the first car or other "first" events. We tend to stick with what we first found attractive.

Could be regional too.
Growing up around here, nearly every Plymouth Dodge & Mopar had Keystones, which is what I liken them too immediately.
