Just wanted to show another photo of an original clip.
The repop does not have the two tabs on the outside. Squeezing those two tabs will spread the inner tabs. On the repops you have to spread the inner tabs from inside the car. |
Tried to re-install my original the other day but it snapped one leg off while trying to get the butterfly tabs to set. I then installed one of the repro tabs and was thankful I had some of those here. That makes two originals that I have lost while trying to reinstall them. And what a PITA they are. Once you bend the tabs once or twice and those tabs crack...they are done for.

Limited number of times they can be squeezed, that's for sure.
