My 06B 1969 Z28 had Power Beams. had the circle with power beam like the photo. Don't remember if it had a 2 at the top or any other details.

My '70 Camaro has one original Power Beam on it. It has "Guide" at the bottom. I also have a pair of Power Beams that I picked up at a swap meet, that have the"GM" at the bottom. I seem to remember a posting on some website where the "Guide" ones were assembly line, and the "GM" ones were over the counter replacements. Don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds plausible. Dale

I checked my 74 Z again. They are original and never off the car. Mine say GUIDE at the bottom and have C68 or C69 at the top above the large 2. Not sure of thats a date code or not.

Sorry, but no.

I found a pair of Power Beams and have them on the way. Thanks for all the info provided on this thread thus far. Much appreciated.

My over the counter replacement in 1974 was the GUIDE version. Of course I'm also interested for the day you decide to part with the swap meet GM ones. Post a picture if possible. Thanks !

Sorry, but they are packed away in storage. One thing I do remember is that they have "GM of Canada"& some numbers in the ink stamp on back.

Funny, I have a first week of April-built Nova also and it had T3s. I still have one around somewhere (they both went out in the 80s) I'll have to look for it. I wonder how close the VINs of these two cars are (report says April 3rd, the door says the 4th)..
