So if the car is still as described by kim howe, that explains the price. Bad paint, floor boards and rear frame rail. Sounds like the car has not been restored, and maybe the buyer this time will do the car right. But that is a good price for a project, and not many come to market at this price or as a project.

It has definitely been painted and detailed under hood. It had visible rust at the bottom of the fenders before...and a few other places.

resto4u,
It sounds like you are assuming the car has not had any work done to it since 2008. It looks pretty darn nice to me in the Mecum pictures. It appears that the car was a deal. It seems the quick bowtie knows the car fairly well since he was bidding on it. Jason |
Car wasnt that nice but would have been a good project or fun car to beat on this summer. Paint had blisters and was older and amateur up close. It was a 15 footer but if a guy wanted one it was a fair buy. I probably would have bid a little more if I would have had some of this history yesterday.

Mark is this the car that had HULT'S dealership paperwork with it? There were two that were sold from HULT'S in Madison. At some point, both cars were in mineral point, wi. One of the cars was still in mineral point a few years ago.

Yes Roger, it is one of them. I owned the other Mountain Green one too. You can read about its history on my face book page with before and after pics. 1967 Z28 & L78 Network on Facebook.
