Three original Firestones for my 1973 Z/28 have 043 codes.

My car was built 02A so a 4th week of week '73 tire for a 1st week of Feb car seems to line up pretty good...

I toasted and tossed my two rear tires in the 90's so I have no idea what codes were on them...

Steve your tires were DOT marked, correct?
Tim is your tire DOT marked?

No DOT on this tire

Here is my contribution to Firestone Date codes. The original spare from a 1970 Olds 442. Everything looks backwards . The date on the rim is 6-23,and I cant find a year code on the rim.

I hope someone can make sense of these codes.
