Thanks Sam!! They look like Deuce covers - someone will grab them from ya!

Danny wants that look but with a name on it, perhaps Edelbrock's, M/T's, Cal Custom... I'm just not sure what was in vogue during that time period. Def like the finned look!

Deuce or LT1 from 70'ish by the looks of the drippers Sam. Should be GM numbers on the underside.
Marlin...FWIW both of these styles were popular throughout the years. Early 70's saw a lot of the M/T covers or the gold Moroso's. I bought these repro M/T covers from Summit and they can be run with or w/o the knockouts. I also bought a set of the repro Edelbrock Scripts which are my favorites and fit really well. Both of these styles should accommodate your roller rockers too.

For me, a 1967 build would not have any holes in a valve cover.

I have a large selection of period valve covers... any idea what you are looking for?

NorCam 03-15-2018 06:33 PM

Edelbrocks can be ordered with or w/o holes through Summit or Jegs, and M/T's don't have any holes punched unless you want them out. Both can look period correct for just about any year.

If either of these are relatively correct for that era, I'd lean towards the Edelbrocks...

remember, you need some type of breathing.

I'm ok with breather holes, a little extra chrome won't ruin it for Danny - it sure looks a lot better than when we broke it down!!!

PxTx 03-15-2018 09:53 PM

The only reason I'm anti-breather is that it is a very identifiable feature of a 1967. Even a stock set of Corvette L-79 valve covers from 1967 would be period correct.

Do you have a oil tube in the intake? What carb and trans do you plan to run?
