On the No Prep episode a Ford beat that Camaro in the semis and Chief beat the Ford in the finals to win $60K!

Last night's episode wasn't bad. It's unbelievable what Chuck has done to his Mustang, Death Trap. That thing is wicked fast compared to before, and even beat Ryan Martin's Fireball Camaro.

Seems like they're runnng in some pretty cool weather. A couple of them mentioned missing hunting season, so you wonder if they're filming in November and December.
Must be Discovery pushing them to get episodes filmed so they can catch the current craze while it's hot. Just hope they don't hurt someone running cold tires on cold tracks. |
Anyone see last night's season finale? Birdman killed them all once again, although that race with Ryan Martin was pretty close and then Birdman beating Larson to get the extra $40K was pretty amazing. A $90K payday ain't bad.
Anyone know why none of the 405 guys except Chuck and Doc do the No Prep stuff? It's weird, I thought I saw Dave's Nova in the background last night, so maybe they just do the Grudge Races for cash? |
Dominator from the 405 was there. Todd

Right, forgot about him; went out early.

I wonder if they're going back to the original format and cast, or is no prep what we'll see on future shows?
|
From what I've seen, I think it's going to be it's own series just a spinoff of the old show, but not 100% sure.

Dave did a video talking about the no prep thing. One thing he mentioned it that per the no prep rules the cars must have metal roofs and quarters as well as a VIN. He said that Birdman and a couple others had fiberglass cars with metal panels attached to the roof and quarters and a junk yard VIN tag. That was part of the reason he didn't race in the series.
