My father was a door gunner on a Huey in 1966-67. He sent back quite a bit of footage of jets dropping napalm and other footage from the chopper. He was stationed at Bien Hoa.
Long story about how he became a door gunner to start and how he got himself in a bad situation a night or two that ending up being the result of being awarded the Bronze Star. Keith your story sounds like my dad. |
