Is that the same car a member here had a while back?

Too answer your question about Did all 70 camaros come with a emblem on the deck lid the answer is no. I have a 70 Z28 that I bought from the original family in 87 with original paint and it never had one

The VIN is worth a Google.

"According to Chevrolet it should have been there. These screenshots are from the GM Heritage Center for 1970 Camaro:"
I believe L72Biscayne's response was regarding the "Camaro by Chevrolet" emblem on the deck lid, not the Z28 emblem on the spoiler. The CbC emblem was moved forward of the spoiler on Z28s and when the D80 option was spec'd. As I recall, the emblem was dropped from production in the late-June/July time frame. For the subject car, I do not see any documentation that the rear spoiler was a factory installed item, so all bets are off. |

That makes sense. My Z28 was assembled the third week of June.

This car...again...discussed here plenty
Take a look at the buildsheet, no solid evidence of L78 It's been through Chev Connection and that is NOT a good sign according to those on here that have knowledge of that organization. Been at BJ at least three times. I was advised to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID |
