Re: RIP Tom Shaw
Wow, terrible news, I first met Tom at a Year One event back in 2000 and talked to him on and off when I was working at Petersen Publishing. He was an interesting guy and IIRC had a diesel Benz as his daily driver, which was intriguing for a musclecar guy. Godspeed Tom.

Re: RIP Tom Shaw
I heard about it last week.
Tom was a true gentleman and a car guy through and through. He was always helpful and a friend to me. Rest in Peace Tom - you will be missed. Jim |

Re: RIP Tom Shaw
I met Tom 20 years ago at the Pure Stock Drags. He was a very kind and gentle man with an exceptional talent for writing what we musclecar people often feel. I will miss him!
I will include a link to his obituary and guest book. If this doesn't work could someone please fix it. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/the...;pid=182826288 |
Re: RIP Tom Shaw
Very sad! I worked with Tom back in 1996 when he agreed to publish a small pic and announcement about the Yenko Deuce Registry - it took off from there, got a call from Schoneye after that issue hit the mail. Tom was good about bouncing articles off of folks who were dedicated to a specific marque, I respected him for that. And, who can argue with his coverage about on the PSMCDR!
He is already missed.... |
Re: RIP Tom Shaw
T'was sad to hear. Growing up with his articles, reports & editorials made me part of who I am as an enthusiast. R.I.P. Tom.
