Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
7.10's rub on my 69 camaro. I prefer under 27" for the front. I run 6.40x15 BF Goodrich Silvertowns on my 15x4's.

How is it driving on those bias plys?

Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
bumpy in the beginning. The original L-60's on the back are the thumpers for a mile or so. Mickey Thompsons dated 1971.

Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
Thanks. Yeah, you just cannot beat the look of BP's with a radial. I sure wish someone would make a new N50-style radial with the more angled edges. 325/50 R15's have the similar height and sidewall thickness, but they just don't have that squared off look of the BP's.

Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
Thinking of dropping the front down bout an inch.. What are you guys thoughts?

Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
I wouldn't lower it. If you are looking for true "day 2", getting cars up in the air was the hot ticket back in the 70s, not lowering them.

Re: Need 15x4 Cragars
I agree that lowering the front would give it more rake, but it depends on what look you're going for. With a lowered front you're probably more contemporary, but if you bring up the rear a little bit and leave the front as-is, that's definitely more old school day two in my opinion.

back up, front alone.
