It's a really decent car for anyone who wants a solid driver.

Thanks for the info supplied to my request and GLWS Dan.

What would this car go for if it had the original engine and transmission?

What would this car go for if it had the original engine and transmission?..

I personally would rather have this canada doc car without the original motor than a car with original motor and zero paperwork.

I wasn't asking what you'd rather have. I was just curious what kind of added value the original engine and transmission would add to this vehicle.

Cdn docs having born with numbers engine & trans? Average as follows in USD.
 • $55K to $60K needing restoration work
 • $80K to 90K w/ high quality restoration
 • $100K+ survivor class
An X33 coded car would be worth slightly more, and rare options only add to it. Cdn Docs are pretty much bullet proof in establishing the cars original origin/build and contribute heavily to it's net worth. The higher the degree of it's restoration or its survivor status can add significant value as well. If a car doesn't come with irrefutable paperwork then it always leads to question? That is why many collectors prefer Cdn sold cars as GM docs are readily available to order. Adding the original sales paper, receipts and owner history will of course add to that.

I'd say those numbers are a tad high in the real world.
