Don't let someone buy TS and take it the route of Ratical One!

Bittersweet to say that Tin Soldier was sold and paid for today. Thanks sYc for the ad.

TS will be heading for a full restoration soon unfortunately, but the new owners paid full ride for the right.

Thanks for the fun memories and meeting Ron. Great car and better guy!

Congrats on the sale. Very cool car, and I can't imagine how cool Ron must be. I'm such a sucker for cars with original owners like that.

Well. She just left.

Going to be stripped, detubbed, converted back to a 4 speed and painted back to the original color, Red.

Ron would like his original (last built by him in TS) motor out of the car so I am trying to make that happen for him!

You'll see it at Auction next year.

I don't get to attached to cars usually. Never missed one more than I liked the money and the next "find". The chase was always as much fun as the cars throughout the years.

This one, however, I miss already.

Re: Tin Soldier COPO Camaro - 4,XXX original miles

Congrats on the sale, I bet you do miss it already. What a shame to lose the race history. I'm saving my lunch money to buy vintage race parts so my car can "re-live" the summer of '69...... '69 Camaro 396/350 stick SS/H "Super Paranoia" owned and driven by Bill Izykowski (Muscle Car Review Nov. '12). It's none of my business, but if that car was purchased to be restored and sold at one of next year's auctions, how will it show a profit? If the buyer paid the asking price or close to it, and spends what it will cost to return that car to "showroom" condition or better, I can't see how the numbers are gonna work. Please give the buyer my contact info as I might be interested in some of the race items. Please don't get me wrong as I mean no disrespect, but there were many more COPO Camaros than there were Tin Soldier Camaros.

Congrats on the sale, but it makes me sad.
