Re: 2016 MCACN Showcases?
I think there should be an Olympic display of Gold, Silver & Bronze cars since next year is an Olympic year (summer I believe). Or a Red, White & Blue display since America will be 240yrs old.

Re: 2016 MCACN Showcases?
If the very first Z28 was built on December 29, 1966, that would make it's 50th birthday/anniversary one month after MCACN 2016. Has there ever been a grouping of 1967 Z28's done anywhere? Just one guys opinion, but that would be a cool display.

The owner of the first Z28 happens to be a member here... Jon... Jon... where art thou?

We came close in 2013, had all W30 except 67-68, there was a 69 and 70 W31. Paul </div></div> it came out afterwards that the 69 was a clone. the 68 w-30 was lined up, but he didn't have a trailer and wasn't going to drive it there. I REALLY like that SD formula idea |
Re: 2016 MCACN Showcases?
Jon's car would be the perfect center piece. Then surround it with one representing drag racing, a survivor, a concours, a barn find and as many different colors from the factory color palette that are available. I'll shut up now, I know it's easier said than done, but it would be cool. I'll bring the birthday cake.

Re: 2016 MCACN Showcases?
We have already been discussing 67 Z28 display for 2017..that gives those with cars plenty of time to them ready.
