My other '78Z has an original Firestone GR70-15 white stripe spare on the original painted rim so they definitely used GR70-15 in '78.

My 1978 Z, that I still have, came originally with G70-15 (which I think comes out to 225-70-15 metric-wise) Goodyear Steelgards with raised white letters.

You are right, I thought that we were using Metric sizing for GM in '78.
As for GR70-15 Steelgards, the RWL is being reproduced and the White Stripe is coming soon. |
