I talked to Wayne Guiinn who wrote a book on the JL8s and he said he thought that 150 were sold ,the brakes were $500 most people didn't want to spend that much. that was the cost of the Z28 option

Wayne told me the same thing. They didn't build that many 427/435 67 Vettes either but we all know someone that has one or two. Just sayin....

40, with some culling of questionable cars. The two JL8 cars from Dale Chev [yellow/yellow RS &amp; orange/orange X77] are not included.

Just looked at an old photo; orange JL8 was X33.

I left it in Chicago about 1980. Maybe still there.
