Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
Kurt, why did you post that vin?
The one for sale is: 124379N562626, isn't it? |
Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
Lynn - ebay links were posted to 2 different cars on page 1, the Cortez Silver car isn't the one the OP was referring to.

Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
SO DO THEY HAVE THE WRONG AD WITH THE GARNET RED CAR ?
|
Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
I posted the eBay link for the Garnet Red car over at the CRG forum on the day it was listed, to see if any of the core CRG guys knew of it, and the seller's claims about using it as a reference for AMK fasteners and technical restoration manuals. No responses yet.

Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
The Garnet red car looks like it has been restored underneath for sure. That doesn't qualify as a survivor car to me.

Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
The garnet red Z is restored based on the pics that were posted of the engine compartment and underbody /suspension.

yea, but sluggish! |
Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
Sluggish would depend on some things: M20, 3:31 gears, STOCK motor (private road, no speeding, no laws broken):

Re: 1969 Z28 SURVIVOR ?
I can see where someone would think the car is sluggish; it's hardly moving in that video, just a lot of tire spinning..................lol.
