Re: '69 Yenko Auction
Can anyone verify if this is an original drivetrain car?

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
Steve,
Back in '90 or so when Bob in Ohio had the car I got drivetrain #s as T0104MN, P9T12B, BE1119. Believed to be original but I don't know of anyone who has verified the drivetrain originality. |
Re: '69 Yenko Auction
Thanks.

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
If this was the car Irwin Kros had I believe it was last restored by Corvette Country.

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
That would be the only 0104MN in the data base - anyone else have 0104MN assembly date on an OE?

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
Yenko Camaro N579776 I have as T0104MN also.

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
OK - Thanks

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
Car was definitely restored by Bob Harris of Camaro Specialties while I worked there in '06. Irwin took his Corvettes elsewhere. I have a few pics of this car being assembled on my home computer. Unfortunately none of the stampings or dates, as of then I did not care about that stuff, just thought it was a pretty cool car. Bob would be the person to contact regarding any details pertaining to this car.

Re: '69 Yenko Auction
... I would think the auction listing would have noted that it was <span style="font-weight: bold">"original"</span> drivetrain ( if it was ) ... rather then stating it this way... "The drivetrain, composed of the L72 427/425 HP big block, Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt 4.10:1 Positraction rear end, <span style="font-weight: bold">uses correct date-coded components throughout</span>, including the A.I.R. (Air Injection Reactor) smog control system." ... |
