Plus, I have the belief - right or wrong - that COPO is a Chevy thing and not shared with other GM divisions. It's an interesting mystery that I thought would have an easier answer. </div></div>

A lot of the build sheets I've collected don't say Chevrolet on them either. The styles of the sheets changed a lot among the plants (at least through the years I've researched). A '63 Atlanta sheet for instance does say Chevrolet. I've never seen a sheet that said Fisher though. The IBM punch cards, on the other hand, always say either Chevrolet or Fisher.

I ask because this is for an Olds and there's a field for COPO, which I understand to be a Chevy-only ordering channel.

I suspect Fisher used the same broadcast cards for all the brands, hence the COPO reference but I dunno....anyone?</div></div>

Diego,

I pulled out the pictured Olds broadcast card for the lady that was selling the car in Toronto about 2 years ago. I'll never forget her name, Antonella! Yes, it was also me who ripped the broadcast card while I was retrieving it from the inside of the car. I showed her where another one located after I had visually seen it with my eyes. I didn't want to rip a second broadcast card for such a rare car.

Cheers,

Sam

Re: Fisher Broadcast Cards

I have a 1969 Firebird Body Broadcast and a Chassis Broadcast sheet:

Body Broadcast

Line 7 - box marked HIGHWAY (OR COPO FRONT) TIRES, with all the individual boxes for tire type.
Line 8 had a box labeled F &amp; SO OR COPO NO.

Chassis Broadcast

Line 7 - same as above (tires)

Just for added interest, here is a sheet from a 1960 Impala convertible built at Los Angeles. It also had the COPO/F&amp;SO field on the form.

Thanks - that item says &quot;Chev&quot; in the upper left.

Yes, that's the ID of the form that Chevy created, dated 7-'59
